Scheduling

Speech therapy, consultation, & evaluation appointments are available by appointment only.

Families interested in speech-language evaluations or therapy are encouraged to begin by completing our Therapy Interest Form. After a complimentary phone consultation, eligible families will be invited to schedule an evaluation.

Playgroup registration is available online for currently scheduled monthly sessions on select Saturdays from 9:30-10:15 am. Only available playgroup sessions will display online and allow bookings.

Before Your First Visit

Prior to your child’s first appointment, you will be asked to:

 

• Create an account for your child/children (be sure to list yourself as the guardian)

• Complete all required intake forms

• Review and electronically sign practice policies and consent forms

• Maintain a valid payment method on file

• All paperwork is completed securely through our patient portal.

Payment

New Moon Speech & Language is currently in the process of credentialing with Anthem BCBS. Clients with all other providers are private pay at the moment.

We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure patient portal.

Payment is due at the time services are provided and a valid payment method must be on file at all times.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be subject to the full scheduled session fee.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential for meaningful progress.

Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or inconsistent attendance may result in a discussion regarding the continuation of services.

Service Locations

 

• Home-Based Clinic

Speech therapy services are provided in a home-based clinic located in Roswell, Georgia.

Parents or legal guardians must remain on the premises during their child’s appointment.
Free driveway parking is available.
Please note that the therapy space is accessible by stairs only and is not currently wheelchair accessible.

• On-Site Early Education Services

We also provide on-site speech therapy services at participating early education settings, including daycares and preschools.

Parents do not need to be present during sessions conducted at participating schools.

Bambinos Playgroups

Bambinos is an SLP-led monthly playgroup designed to support early communication through play.

​

To help create a positive experience for all families:

 

• Caregivers attend and participate with their child.

• Registration is required in advance & closes 48 hours before the scheduled session.

• A minimum of 3 enrolled families are required in order for the playgroups to run. Space is intentionally limited.

• Children should be able to participate safely in a small-group environment.

• The playgroup is not designed to provide one-on-one behavioral support.

• Additional playgroup policies, including cancellation and illness guidelines, are reviewed during registration.

Illness Policy

Please keep your child home if they have:

​

• Fever within the previous 24 hours

• Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours

• A contagious illness

• Symptoms that would prevent comfortable participation

Families may contact us to discuss rescheduling when appropriate.

Communication

We value collaborative care and believe parents are an important part of every child’s progress.

Questions are always welcome, and caregivers will receive recommendations and home practice as appropriate.

Photo & Video Consent (Optional)

​

We occasionally capture photos or videos during class for marketing and promotional purposes. You may opt in or out during registration.
